Character Inventory:

A futuristic hand cannon, something like this, it'll jam a few times when using it and will mostly likely jam right at the moment you need it the most. There's going to be several different tricks needed to fire the hand cannon. Those tricks could range from as simple to pulling the trigger faster to the hardest trick having to cock back the hammer manually to fire the hand cannon. When it goes off, it's going to sound as if a firework exploded alerting those around him. The recoil is no joke either, it'll be a hard push back to force out a shot from the barrel. Aiming the hand cannon in general will be different because of the weight difference that Byakuya would have to take in account.

These pair of scissors. Just to remind him that there's no running away from a vulgar friend. There's no real point in using them. He wouldn't use such a disgusting thing but he'll keep them in case a certain someone were to show up.

Abilities:

He is known as the Ultimate Affluent Progeny. That basically means he has a lot of money. An extreme amount of money. It also means he is the offspring of a wealthy family. Byakuya is smart and can find clues that others might not always see right away. At one point in time, he did day trading, where he would follow a current trend in the stock market. He will buy those stocks and then sell them. Let's just say that he ended up being worth the equivalent of 400 billion yen. Byakuya, however, had given up on day trading because it became to easy for him. He believes that the world is too simple.

The young man is cool and collected. It's a skill that is helpful to him. It's probably what helped him be able to run a company at such a young age. Byakuya does have weaknesses but they don't show often. When they do, he doesn't like them being pointed out. They are his weaknesses that no one else is supposed to know about. Although, he does make it known when he doesn't know something. Because of his upbringing, he doesn't know a lot about public related stuff for example, how the keys work in the lockers at a public bath house.

He pays close attention to detail during investigation parts, but is quick to judge those without a firm alibi. Byakuya also asks the right questions at the right time to move the trials along helping Makoto solve who had done the murder.

Background Information: The game plot from hell. A more understanding of this young man.

Personality Description:

If you are in the presence of Byakuya Togami, better best be prepared for the worse possible outcome. Insults will be coming forth to those that he finds annoying. Also it would be best if you didn't waste his time either with something useless or not worth while either. If you end up getting a better outcome, bravo! Because that rarely ever happens if at all. It'll take a while to get him to open up completely.

He is an arrogant young man that comes from a wealthy family. But, don't say that he has had everything handed to him. That is an extreme insult to him and he won't be afraid to tell you either. His life hasn't been easy at all. There is a reason why he's so arrogant. He had to "fight" his way up the ranks of fifteen other candidates to get to the top. To be chosen within the family to manage a business. He became the youngest member to ever be able to do that. In regards to this, he has a superior demeanor, better than you attitude. That he will order others around to do his bidding. If he is successful, he might reward them by having them near him at all. He is cold, ruthless and speaks his mind. Byakuya isn't afraid to tell it how it is. He has spoken out countless of times to Toko and Genocide Jill's disgusting obsessive behavior towards him.

At the beginning of his school life at Hope's Peak Academy, he thought it would be a school inspired by hope. But, it fell into despair, since it became a killing game. Byakuya didn't want to make any friends. What was the point? To graduate you had to kill someone and not get caught for it. There wasn't a reason to make friends. No one could trust anyone and they would have to watch out for themselves. Even himself. He could be his own enemy if he weren't careful. As long as the killing game was entertaining for him, he wouldn't become bored either. Byakuya chooses to work alone and when the next floor opens up with a library. He goes as far as ordering people out and not disturb him. There was one person he couldn't get to stay away from him though. That was Toko and her alternate personality Genocide Jill. No matter how many times he brutally insulted her, she stayed around. Which only added to his annoyance.

When the second murder took place, he even goes as far as changing the crime scene. Byakuya then helps Makoto throughout the investigation giving him everything that he needs. During the class trial when he gets picked out as having something to do with it. He gets Makoto to start looking toward someone else. Because the other rules being that they must choose the blackened student correctly or it's all their lives. At the end of it, he gets called out on his actions. Byakuya states without hesitation that he did it to make the killing game more interesting and a test to know who he must watch out for. Makoto had been able to piece together the investigation without much trouble. Even with the change in crime scene, proved that he would have to be careful around him.

The young man goes to show an manipulative side to him as well. Others tried to ask Toko a few things only to come to realize that she had been ordered to stay quiet. Byakuya found it useful since he had been annoyed with her constant talking. She had to get permission to speak otherwise. It also goes to show that Byakuya means what he says and isn't afraid of what others think of the situation. No matter how often they said it was cruel he had believed he had done the right thing.

Byakuya shows a great display of intellect, making him one of the better investigators of the group. He is also cool and collected. Yet, he doesn't take in the other's emotions into play with the murders. He becomes more confident and always comes to the right decision no matter what. There's a point where he says he does everything perfectly and wants to be known as the ultimate perfection. At least that's what he believes. It isn't until Sakura's death and the class trial did he get called out on not taking that part into consideration. Byakuya has a hard time admitting that he's wrong. After that he vows to go after the mastermind not wanting to be part of the killing game. It isn't until after this that his view slowly starts to change. That he slowly starts to care a little bit about everyone. He won't admit to it though.

During the fifth trial, with Kyoko being absent the entire time. He had thought that she had been behind the murder the entire time. She didn't have a solid alibi while they had. He didn't factor in what was really going on. It isn't until the trial took a different turn claiming Makoto to be the blackened that something had been off. He starts to realize the mastermind tricks and they needed to figure out who it was before they tried to do something else again. He didn't know that despair was waiting right around the corner.

The last final class trial begun and after Junko's big reveal to them, Byakuya feels even more despair. The world had gone through a tragedy, the most horrible one in human history. Because of that, the Togami corporation is no longer. The name that meant so much to Byakuya had came crushing down breaking into millions of pieces. But, he finds hope within, stating that he will build the Togami empire from the ground up if need be. It only goes to show you how confident and determined he is. Within that one statement alone it brings out the new budding hope that he recently got. That hope would help them get through whatever the future brings.

Third Person Sample:

That familiar stench. Irony could have well played in this situation. The stench had been foul... rotten... and an old death. It shouldn't be easy to say it was familiar, even if it truly was. He came across it before at Hope's Peak Academy. It always meant a death. Byakuya groaned, opening his eyes as he awoke from getting knocked unconscious by some unknown force. It had been strange and all too sudden. It caught him off guard. Not that seemed to happen to an Togami. Whoever had done it would certainly pay when he found them.

He had found himself on a cool hard stone gravel surface and dirt. As he stood up, he brushed himself off but couldn't help shake off that familiar scent. He knew what it was... a corpse. Maybe more than just a few. That had been concerning because why would there be more than a few? Byakuya started walking in a direction that he hoped would lead him out. As he continued forward, the rotten smell grew closer. He covers his mouth and nose to keep most of it away and not gag on such a disgusting aroma.

This City was completely awful, the worst he's ever been in, he still couldn't figure out how he got here either. No one could provide enough answers for that either. The citizens even proved worthless and when he all but almost gave up. One finally spoke out to help him, Rick from the Inn. Byakuya, although not trusting at first, accepted the help anyway. It only landed him a place to sleep, anytime he needed it. There didn't seem to come a price with it, but he knew at some point there would be. Nothing ever comes for free. He learned that early in his life. Rick, the next morning, only told him that he will let him know in a few days when he would need something from him.

Byakuya thought he had found a nice quiet place, out of the way of everyone. He should have been more careful. A thick fog rolls in surrounding the area and he squints spotting a sign that read "Graveyard". It would explain this horrible, disgusting odor that he couldn't seem to get rid of. He had been going toward that scent for what reason unknown, something that he had no choice but to head too. There didn't appear to be any other way out either. The young man had slowly grown more annoyed at his current situation, why wasn't there anyone else around? Surely this wasn't a dream. It all seemed... real.

He saw an outline appearing, it looked like a pile of bricks at first, only to his horror that it was... bodies. A big pile of bodies! Byakuya's eyes widened in surprised, he found himself frozen in place. What did this mean? Was this normal? He turned around trying to search for another way out. Only that he wasn't alone anymore, someone had been standing there out in the fog. A heavy, deep groan emerged from within their throat. A bone chilling shiver ran through his entire being. The sound grew closer and the fog began to fade to where he can make out the man. It wasn't exactly a man. The clothing had been old, ratted, and torn to shreds in several places. The skin looked gray, dry and crusting with decomposed flesh, the eyes had been blackened raisins. Byakuya noticed that he couldn't look away from it. He couldn't understand how it was making the noise either. The mouth had been gaping open and there didn't appear to be any kind of tongue at all. There seemed to be a wound upon the man's head, smashed inward and dried old blood had been plastered around the splitting flesh.

The young man could tell that something was off about their movements as well. The man shuffled, groaning in the typical undead way. A thing one would find in the movies or the most popular of tv shows. Byakuya could see a few more off in the distance making their way toward him too. As the first one came closer, the horrible stench grew even worse. Something about this stench though had turned his stomach. It created a sort of panic, igniting his nerves and making him anxious. He wondered if that he some kind of after effect. Maybe some kind of gas or chemical release in the air to make him want to do something completely stupid. He went for the gun that he had found in a box, he had slipped it carefully out from it's hiding place. Someone had mentioned that there may come a time when your weapons would prove useful. Now would be one of those times. He never believed that he would have to use such a vulgar equipment either. The name of the gun had his approval though. The Duke seemed very fitting for it too.

The hand cannon was still foreign to him. It was big in his own grip and it felt as if it would be easy to use. The hand cannon proved otherwise, being just as spoiled in the same way as it's wielder. Byakuya had a hard time aiming it to begin with and when he finally took a shoot. The recoil had been so great that it took him even longer to be able to shoot again. The young man hoped to improve overtime, it shouldn't have been so hard to handle. The gun was made for someone else to use. He had to make every shot count. If he were to get out of this nightmare alive, he would have to fight. There would always be that hope that had been recently awoken. The horde started to come together and Byakuya stayed focused on them. He would have liked another person to show up to help or to end this nightmare. Would someone like that come? Or would he have to face his fate alone?

First Person Sample:

[A video feed slowly starts. The young man doesn't look extremely happy. In fact, he has his arms folded, making him appeared annoyed. Byakuya calmly stared into the camera feed wanting to get his point across and clearly. He also knew that eye contact meant a lot too. If he was getting it in return, it didn't matter.]

Has anyone been able to get any straight answers on this place? It would appear that the citizens of City Three seem... afraid of me. Perhaps they would be afraid of all of us? Has anyone else in this city encountered the same thing? I don't see why they would be afraid unless there was some pervious event to have caused it.

If anyone has any answers it would greatly help to find any kind of clue. There has to be an answer hidden somewhere.

For those not in City Three, what kind of places do you have? How are your citizens? What strange behaviors do they have?

[He glances off toward the side as if distracted by something. His feed cuts off shortly after that as if some kind of interference happened. A few more seconds of static before going completely black.]
